Marlo is a teeny tiny taco shop in Old Strathcona offering big flavours and simple comforts. We keep things focused on well-done tacos, margaritas and regionally inspired cocktails. Tortillas made daily from Oaxacan corn and slow-stewed meats accompanied by bright salsas are what we do. Inspired by the joy of sharing tacos with the people you love, Marlo is simply about great food and good company.

Are your tacos gluten free?
Our corn tortillas and majority of our tacos are naturally gluten free. Some fillings and sauces may contain gluten - ask your server and we'll walk you through the options.
Can you handle dietary restrictions?
Absolutely. We have a few vegetarian and vegan options, and our team is happy to help navigate the menu for allergies or other dietary needs.
Does Marlo take reservations?
We accept reservations all day, every day. Please book your table via OpenTable. Due to the cozy nature of our restaurant, we cannot accommodate parties larger than 6. Walk-ins are always welcome, but we recommend reserving ahead, especially on weekends.
Where do I park?
As we are located in the heart of Whyte Ave, we do not have designated parking. The closest lot is located on 83rd Ave between 105th and 104th street, across from Rapid Fire Theatre. There are also several nearby paid parking lots, as well as free street parking in the surrounding residential areas.
Does Marlo offer catering?
While we don’t offer full catering services, our Taco Boxes are perfect for feeding a crowd! Choose 15 or 30 tacos and pair with family-sized chips and dips for the full party! Place your order here. Please note we require 48 hours notice for all orders.
